Inside the novel Fahrenheit (f) 451 Bradbury uses a large number of literary devices. He runs from images, diction, connotation, syntax, metaphors, and similes. Bradbury uses these a number of literary devices in order to demonstrate sadness and in a way build suspense. Through Fahrenheit 451 his use is demonstrated in a wide variety of ways.

An example of images is " It was like coming into the cold marbled room of the mausoleum following your moon provides set. (Bradbury 10)” Bradbury uses this statement to exhibit us because the reader that he desires us to feel or perhaps create an image of Montag walking to a room that pretty much lifeless and dark. The author uses this sense and symbolism because inside the novel the characters represent humans that may not think for themselves so therefore it seems like they are almost dead. (10)” Once again Bradbury tries to implement the picture or his function about Montag and Mildred's bedroom, how dark and lifeless it truly is.

Bradbury also uses diction, term choice and connotation which usually stands for a thought that has been intended or suggested. " He was not happy. Having been not happy, (11)” shows diction and significance. It's diction because unhappy is Bradbury's word decision. It's significance because as a reader we could imply that Montag the personas are not content. The way Bradbury uses diction and connotation in the verse to help strengthen the point that Montag seems unhappy along with his life.

The syntactical strategy that Bradbury uses is used because he is placing the picture with darker and chilly feeling. Through syntax Bradbury builds his suspense. Bradbury also uses similes and metaphors from this novel to include more understanding to how the character inside the story seems. " This individual wore his happiness just like a mask and the girl got run off across the lawn while using mask and there was not a way of likely to knock on her behalf door and enquire for it back again.
